What is an Intervention?
Our intervention services provides invaluable support to families seeking the proper direction and care for their loved ones struggling with substance use issues. We walk families through the following essential steps:
1. Risk Assessment: The interventionist engages in open conversations with the family, thoroughly assessing the risks and challenges associated with their loved one's situation.
2. Finding the Right Treatment Center: With their extensive knowledge and network, the interventionist helps identify the most suitable treatment center for the individual in need. They assist in navigating the options and making informed decisions.
3. Arranging Transportation: The interventionist takes care of organizing transportation to ensure a smooth transition from the family's location to the chosen treatment center, making the process as stress-free as possible.
4. Building a Support Team: The interventionist guides the family in assembling a strong support team to surround and uplift the identified person (IP). Through an in-person meeting, the team discusses their love, compassion, and concerns for the IP. The interventionist provides assistance in various approaches, such as letter writing, ensuring that expressions of care are conveyed without resorting to shaming or guilt.
5. Ongoing Support: Even after the IP enters treatment, the interventionist remains a source of unwavering support and guidance for the family. They continue to be available to address questions, provide advice, and offer encouragement throughout the treatment process.
